Hackintosh
Posted by Tangerinepiggy on November 12th, 2009 filed in HeapWorking on my doodles i started to notice that my computer was having trouble keeping up with some of the vector art I have been working on. I had just read a guide on how to build a Hackintosh Aka a computer that can run OS X not made by mac. So following the guide I set about ordering parts. Once they arrived I spent the better part of the afternoon getting it built and set up. Once I had it up and running I found a neat program called Geek tools that lets you run shell commands on the desktop. The last picture shows what I have it doing. Mainly showing what itunes is playing, what the weather will be like tomorrow, the date, and uptime. There are other things you can do I may get around to eventually. Well if you have any questions shoot them my way.
